Secretary’s Report ~ Fiscal 2007

We recorded 2,032 Percherons during fiscal year 2006, consisting of 689 stallions, 1,243 mares and 100 geldings. Registrations were received from 43 states and Canada. There were 1,862 paid by members and 170 by non members.

Transfers

We issued 3,451 transfers for fiscal 2007, consisting of 614 stallions, 2,397 mares and 440 geldings. Transfers went to 48 states, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Columbia. There were 2,563 paid by members and 888 paid by non members.

Memberships and Subscriptions

We added 323 new members during fiscal year 2007. We had a total of 2,883 members at the end of fiscal 2007, of these 381 were lifetime members. We had a total of 176 subscribers, giving a total of 3,059 members and subscribers. We have members and subscribers in all 50 states, Australia, Canada, England, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, and Puerto Rico.
