Secretary’s Report ~ Fiscal 2008

We recorded 1,760 Percherons during fiscal year 2008, consisting of 626 stallions, 1065 mares and 69 geldings. Registrations were received from 45 statesa. There were 1,618 paid by members and 142 by non members.

Transfers

We issued 3,169 transfers for fiscal 2008, consisting of 533 stallions, 2,2437 mares and 393 geldings. Transfers went to all fifty states and Canada. There were 2,391 paid by members and 778 paid by non members.

We added 263 new members during fiscal year 2008. We had a total of 2,960 members at the end of fiscal 2008, of these 384 were lifetime members. We had a total of 185 subscribers, giving a total of 3,145 members and subscribers. We have members and subscribers in all 50 states, Australia, Canada, England, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, and Puerto Rico.
